We are joining the international celebration of World Town Planning Day!

The day reflects on how good planning improves the lives of people and benefits our societies, creating places to live, work and play together.

Hart District Council have launched a consultation on their draft Corporate Plan for 2023-2027, inviting residents and stakeholders to comment on their priorities for the next four years.  

Joint Chief Executive Patricia Hughes will be stepping down from Hart District Council at the end of this week to pursue a new chapter in her life, although she still intends to continue to be involved in local government.

Patricia joined the Council in 2012, initially as a Corporate Director, before being appointed as a Joint Chief Executive (Head of Paid Service) in 2014.  

Many Hart residents can now get help with their rising energy bills with an average grant £10,000 for sustainable home improvements.  

Exciting plans to transform play areas and exercise spaces in Fleet and Riseley have taken a major step forward this week with funding released from Hart District Council.

The Council has been working hard alongside developers as part of the planning process to ensure that invaluable community projects are funded to balance the impacts of new development.
