We will not normally reveal your identity, but if we take formal action we may need you to be a witness. At that point your details will become public. 

We will not condone wilful breaches of planning law, but will exercise discretion about taking enforcement action if appropriate to do so. We have an adopted enforcement policy which we follow in most cases.

Some alleged breaches of planning control are potentially more serious than others. To ensure we allocate appropriate resources to the more serious allegations, we may look at those we consider less serious over a slightly longer timescale.
