A local plan sets out a vision and framework for the future development of an area, with policies used to decide planning applications.
The new Hart Local Plan 2044 will replace the Hart Local Plan (Strategy and Sites) 2032 and Saved Policies from the Hart Local Plan (Replacement) 1996-2006.
The Council is keen to progress a new local plan quickly so that Hart’s communities can benefit from up-to-date planning policies as soon as possible.
