Objections and appeals

Objections and appeals

Anyone can object to or comment on your application during the 21 day consultation. We will display a notice at the proposed pitch during this time.

You must pay a deposit when you apply. If we grant consent, you must pay the balance of the 12 month fee before you can start trading.

Rights of appeal

There is no formal right of appeal against the refusal of a street trading application or renewal.

However, you can write to our Regulatory Services Manager within 14 days of refusal saying why you think consent should be granted.
