Stray dogs and animal welfare licensing
Collecting stray dogs and helping people deal with dog-related nuisances and welfare issues
Our stray dogs service works to:
- collect and protect stray dogs
- promote animal welfare
- help owners trace lost dogs
- help people deal with dog-related nuisances such as fouling or excessive barking
Please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 if you are concerned about the welfare of a pet. Our dog service and Animal Licensing team does not deal with this issue.
If you're concerned about animal welfare at an animal establishment, please go to animal activities and welfare licensing.
Dangerous dogs should be reported to the police
