Shaping your future council
Take our survey and tell us what’s important to you about your local area and how you feel future local councils should operate
Keep up to date with our Hart News publication and via social media
We publish our Hart News newsletter twice a year for all households in the district.
We use Hart News to tell residents about the services we provide, local activities and events throughout Hart. You'll also find information about some things done by our partners, such as the police and local housing associations.
We offer limited advertising space for local businesses and organisations. For more information, email hartnews@hart.gov.uk.

We produce a regular e-newsletter for residents with council news and updates. People can sign up to receive by supplying their email address in the sign-up box at the bottom of the page.
We encourage people to stay in touch with us via social media.
We use our social media channels to:
provide updates on projects and the services we provide
inform you of what we are doing and the decisions we have made
We're here to help in any way that we can, but we expect users to offer us the same level of courtesy that we offer them. We want our social media channels to be safe spaces and a place for healthy and open discussion, which is why we have a short set of house rules:
We will not tolerate or respond to abusive comments, posts and messages. We will block and/or report to the associated social media platform anyone who repeatedly engages with us using content or language which falls into the above categories.
Our Policy on Unreasonable Customer Behaviour sets out what we consider to be unacceptable and the steps we may take to deal with such behaviour.
