Information for voters, candidates and agents about the elections on 2 May 2024
Elections for the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police area and elections for councillors to Hart District Council will be held on Thursday 2 May 2024.
There may also be elections for parish councillors to Crondall, Crookham Village, Dogmersfield and Ewshot on the same day.

Hart District Councillor resigns with immediate effect
Fleet East ward councillor Silke Engstrom has resigned with immediate effect.
This means that the Fleet East ward will have two District Councillor seats to be filled instead of one.
In the meantime, the Fleet East ward is represented by:
- Councillor Peter Wildsmith
- Councillor Jonathan Wright

- postal votes for electors who made postal vote applications before 30 March will be issued on 16 April 2024
- postal votes for electors who made postal vote applications between 31 March and 16 April will be issued on 17 April 2024
- postal votes for all other electors will be issued on 19 April 2024
