Dates and information on future elections

Elections for the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police area and elections for councillors to Hart District Council will be held on Thursday 2 May 2024.

There may also be elections for parish councillors to Crondall, Crookham Village, Dogmersfield and Ewshot on the same day.

A briefing was held on Thursday 14 March, aimed at party agents, parish clerks and candidates.

The slides from the briefing will be available for anybody who was unable to attend the meeting.

Hart District Councillor resigns with immediate effect

Fleet East ward councillor Silke Engstrom has resigned with immediate effect.

This means that the Fleet East ward will have two District Councillor seats to be filled instead of one.

In the meantime, the Fleet East ward is represented by:

• Councillor Peter Wildsmith
• Councillor Jonathan Wright
