To ensure the effectiveness of this policy and compliance with legally required standards for public safety, the policy shall be reviewed annually. This review will identify any procedural issues and address any changes resulting from legislation, case law or best practice. A suitably qualified and experienced Council officer shall be responsible for collating and reporting relevant information.
The policy shall undergo a comprehensive review every five years to ensure compliance with any updates in legislation and tree management guidance. The review will be conducted by a suitably qualified or experienced individual.
Performance against KPIs will be communicated to the Health and Safety Board on a quarterly basis.
As site use may change over time, it is necessary to subject all Occupancy Zones to periodic review. This must be no less than once every three years. The Open Space Manager and/or Landscape Strategy Manager is advised to review specific areas if new sites are acquired, play equipment or site furniture is installed or removed, new development occurs on adjacent land or there is a change of land use.
