From helping people find new homes to keeping our green spaces tip-top, the last 12 months has been a busy time for our Community Services team.

They put Hart residents at the heart of everything they do, providing support to thousands of people.

The recently published Community Services Annual Report 2024/25 highlights key achievements in Housing, Community Safety, Countryside and the Here for Hart community support network.

Kirsty Jenkins, Executive Director of Community Services, said: “This has been another challenging year for many of our residents and we always want to make sure they get the help and support available to them.

“Along with our core services, we have been able to fund local organisations supporting our residents and the Armed Forces community and awarded hardship grants to families struggling to make ends meet.

“We’ve run a number of successful events, including one on low-cost home ownership, an employment fair, carers evening, landlord training and Stay Safe sessions to local secondary schools. Our Countryside team has been super busy planting close to 2,000 trees and our thanks go as ever to the volunteers who help us improve our green spaces.”
