You'll need an operator licence if you want to run a private hire vehicle business in Hart
A private hire vehicle operator's licence allows you to advertise and accept bookings for private hire work.
You’ll also need driver and vehicle licences if you’re working as a one-person operator.
We normally grant licences for five years. You must renew your licence before it expires. If you don't, your business may have to close until you renew.
You must only operate licensed vehicles driven by licensed drivers. The driver, vehicle and operator must all be licensed by us.
