Wheelchair-accessible vehicles in Hart:

All vehicles are fully accessible by wheelchair users in standard or reference sized wheelchairs. Users of larger or electrified wheelchairs are advised to contact the operators to seek advice before booking the vehicle.

Drivers of taxis and private hire vehicles on this list are required:

• to carry the passenger while in the wheelchair
• not to make any additional charge for doing so
• not to charge for loading and unloading time while undertaking journeys done using the taximeter
• to carry the wheelchair if the passenger chooses to sit in a passenger seat
• to take such steps as are necessary to ensure the passenger is carried in safety and reasonable comfort
• to give the passenger such mobility assistance as is reasonably required, such as folding wheelchairs and placing in luggage compartment, installing boarding ramps and securing a wheelchair in the passenger compartment
