Where to get your blood pressure tested

Undiagnosed high blood pressure can raise your chances of a heart attack or stroke. It's easy to get your blood pressure checked and manage it if you need to. Lots of pharmacies in Hart offer blood pressure testing and it is often free.

Where can I get my blood pressure checked?

You can buy your own blood pressure monitor online or at your local pharmacy to test yourself at home. There will be user instructions in the box with the monitor.

Some GP surgeries have blood pressure monitors in their reception areas for you to use and there are many local pharmacies which offer blood pressure checks.

Many local pharmacies can check your blood pressure for you. Some may charge a fee, but others offer a free service if you are under 40 with a family history of hypertension, or if you are over 40 and undiagnosed.
