We're providing further funding to help community groups support those most in need during the coming winter months.
Organisations can bid for up to £5,000 from the Cost of Living Support Fund for projects and activities that benefit Hart residents struggling to make ends meet.
The scheme opens for applications on 6 October 2025, closing on 7 November, with grants awarded to successful groups in December. Previous applicants may apply.
This latest grant follows similar schemes run by the Council over the last two winters which funded cooking sessions, food pantries and parcels, young people drop-in sessions and community hubs.
The 2025 fund has a total of £50,000 available to Hart groups and charities that support communities.
Councillor Peter Wildsmith, portfolio holder for Communities, said: “The cost of living continues to affect Hart residents with increasing numbers needing support from food banks and pantries and debt advice.
“The work that our community groups do is invaluable. They make a huge difference to people’s lives, supporting them when they need it most. We hope this funding will help groups continue their important work and we are encouraging as many as possible to apply.”
