Have your say on our dog fouling policy by 11.59pm on Sunday 16 August.
We’re looking to extend our current dog fouling policy, which gives us the ability take action against those found not cleaning up after their dog.
We would welcome any views on this and are running a public consultation on the proposal to extend the existing policy by a further three years.
Read the current Public Spaces Protection Order (Dog Fouling)
Keeping our district a clean, safe and welcoming place to live, work and enjoy is a priority for us. While most dog owners responsibly clean up after their pets, dog fouling remains an issue and can have a negative impact on residents, visitors and the local environment.
Extending the policy for another three years will allow us to continue taking action against those who fail to clean up after their dogs and/or do not have the means to do so.
The consultation closes at 11.59pm on Sunday16 August.
By maintaining the measures already in place, we can continue to safeguard the quality of our district and ensure Hart remains a place everyone can enjoy.
