Every year, Remembrance Sunday offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and give thanks to those who have served their country. On Sunday 8 November, we will remember the Armed Forces and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.
Armistice Day, on Wednesday 11 November, commemorates the signing of the Armistice that brought the First World War to an end and honours all those who have given their lives in service since 1914.
