Cllr David Neighbour, Leader of Hart District Council, has responded to the news of developments in Ukraine.
“Like many other Local Authorities and Central Government, Hart stands with Ukraine against the horror caused by the war, instigated by Russia's invasion.
Today, Hart’s Chairman Cllr Ambler raised a flag to show our support.
We are working with local community groups to facilitate vigils and collections, and we will launch a dedicated webpage of information to assist in the humanitarian effort for Ukraine.
Our thoughts go out to those suffering in the country and those who have had to flee, and all those affected by this terrible act of war.”
