Residents across Hart are being invited to discover new career opportunities, gain expert advice and connect directly with employers at Hart Job Fair 2026.
The event on Thursday 17 September is free to attend at The Harlington, Fleet from 10am-2pm. It will bring together more than 30 local and national organisations, showcasing a wide range of job and volunteering opportunities.
Visitors will have the chance to meet employers face-to-face, learn about different industries, explore current vacancies and receive practical job-search support. It’s a unique opportunity to ask questions directly to recruiters and gain valuable insight into what it is really like to work in a variety of sectors

- Royal Mail
- Home Instead
- Reed Employment
The event builds on the success of last year’s job fair which attracted 325 residents who spoke with a variety of business and organisations.
Councillor Peter Wildsmith, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Community Services, said: "The Hart Job Fair continues to be a fantastic example of our community coming together. It provides residents with direct access to employers, advice and opportunities that could be life-changing, while also helping local organisations find the people they need to grow and thrive.
“The response to last year’s event was overwhelmingly positive, and we're looking forward to welcoming even more people this September."
The annual fair is part of the Here for Hart initiative, delivered by Hart District Council in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and Jobcentre Plus.
