What is a publication scheme?

This is a guide to information we routinely make available in compliance with local government best practice and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Information Commissioner has stated that websites may serve as a council’s guide to information. Most of the material listed in this scheme is already on our website, and we provide links in this guide.

We have followed the Information Commissioner's guidance by dividing the information into seven categories:

  • what we spend and how we spend it
  • our priorities and how we're doing
  • how we make decisions
  • our policies and procedures
