This local resident engagement event is set up to bring residents together from across the district to discuss climate change solutions at The Council offices. Whether you're after some quick wins you can do by yourself, or want to come together with like-minded people to do something together in your local community, come and see what's on offer.

Audience: anyone interested in climate action 

Hart District Council will provide a rundown of how emissions have been changing over the past few years and cover what action has already been taken. We will be joined by speakers from Hart Voluntary Action, The Greening Campaign and Energise South Downs. You will have the opportunity to engage with other residents on topics you are most enthusiastic about.

We will cover:

  • Making homes more energy efficient
  • Creating spaces for nature and biodiversity
  • Community energy
  • Waste prevention
  • Growing your own food
  • Local community groups and activities
  • Adapting to climate change
