Food voucher scheme
We have been allocated funding from Hampshire County Council, as part of the extended Household Support Fund, to support households who are in receipt of Council Tax support and/or Housing Benefit with food vouchers
The food vouchers are a one-off voucher that can be used in community pantries or supermarkets. They will be issued between 1 September 2023 and 31 December 2023.

You do not need to apply for the food vouchers as we will be writing directly to eligible recipients from the beginning of September:
- households in receipt of Council Tax support will receive a £50 voucher
- household in receipt of Housing Benefit only will receive a £80 voucher
The vouchers will be made available in the following two ways:
- working age residents will receive a letter with a QR code to claim the voucher online (an offline option can be made available in exceptional circumstances)
- pension age residents will receive a letter with a physical voucher. The nearest supermarket will be pre-selected, prior to issue, based on postcode.
Distribution and enquiries about the allocated vouchers have been contracted out to Wonde Ltd.
