Introduction

This funding is open to not-for-profit, community-led and voluntary organisations only.

We welcome proposals that introduce new services as well as those that continue, strengthen or enhance existing services. We're keen to support improvements to community facilities, helping to create inclusive, accessible spaces that benefit everyone.

Things to remember

  • Applications are open from 13 July to 10 August 2026.
  • You cannot apply for something that has already happened.
  • You need to have read and understand the eligibility and criteria guidance. The scoring sheet has been provided for reference.
  • Multiple projects from one organisation may be funded where they score highly.
  • You must complete all sections to make sure that your application can be considered.
  • Applicants will be contacted w/c 24 August 2026 after the Grants Panel meet.
  • Successful applicants will need to provide their bank details so that grants can be transferred to the organisation’s bank account.
  • Once the signed Grant Agreement and organisation bank details have been received, the grant will be paid retrospectively on receipt of invoices detailing project expenditure. Please contact us if retrospective payments are a barrier for your organisation and may discourage you from applying at h4hcg@hart.gov.uk.

Before you start, please review this checklist and if you answer ‘yes’ to all the questions, you can continue the application form.

  1. Will the project be completed by 30 June 2027?

  2. Does your organisation have a bank account?

  3. Does your project benefit Hart residents?

  4. Does your organisation have an up to date safeguarding policy if you work with children, young people or vulnerable adults?

  5. Does your project have any necessary permissions in place if necessary?
