We work closely with community partners to help build happy, healthy communities by tackling inequalities and supporting vulnerable residents, as well as those with additional needs.

 

How we support our partners

Small grant schemes

We regularly offer small grant funding opportunities to support community organisations delivering services to local residents. Previous grant programmes have focused on areas including cost of living, climate change, countryside and Armed Forces support.

Regular newsletters

We produce a range of bulletins to help organisations stay connected and informed. These provide useful information for your professional knowledge and can help you offer informed advice and support to your members, clients and patients.

Promotion through our community directory

Community organisations can be listed free of charge on the Here for Hart Directory, helping you reach more residents and promote your services.

Run by Hart District Council in partnership with Hart Voluntary Action, the directory makes it easier for people to access the help they need, when they need it. It also provides organisations with a simple and reliable way to signpost residents to appropriate support beyond their own service.

Events, forums and networking opportunities

We organise a range of groups, forums and events that enable community organisations to connect, learn and work together.

These include:

  • Here for Hart Partnership Group
  • Older Adults Forum
  • Annual Jobs Fair
  • Topic-specific partnership meetings, delivered in response to local need

Ad hoc support and signposting

We can provide one-to-one support for community organisations. Often, we can connect you with specialist organisations, networks or individuals who can provide additional advice and support.
