Here for Hart Community Grants

New £440,000 fund to support Hart communities

Hart District Council has launched a new Here for Hart Community Grants scheme with £440,000 available to community and voluntary organisations across the district.

The grants are designed to leave a lasting legacy and reflects the Council’s long‑term commitment to working alongside community-based partners to strengthen local support and facilities.

The scheme will focus on initiatives that help residents stay well, promote inclusion and community connection and support people facing challenges. Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate strong value for money, long-term sustainability and a clear, lasting impact for local communities.

Share your ideas and tell us how your project will positively impact the Hart community, including young people. We welcome proposals that introduce new services as well as those that continue, strengthen or enhance existing services. In addition, we are keen to support improvements to community facilities, helping to create inclusive, accessible spaces that benefit everyone.

We have two funding streams:

Here for Hart £5,000 - a simpler application form, suitable for first time applicants looking to deliver projects supporting the wider community. All projects provide a long-term benefit to participants.

Here for Hart £50,000 - a detailed application form for larger projects with a long-term benefit to the community continuing years after project completion. The benefit could be due to longevity of items purchased or because the project is sustainable beyond the duration.

If your project meets the criteria below, and you are from an eligible organisation, we would really like to hear from you. If in the meantime you have a question, please do contact us on: h4hcg@hart.gov.uk
