This fund, which closed to applications on 14 September 2026, was for larger projects up to a maximum award of £50,000 with a long-term benefit to the community continuing years after project completion. 

Applications were judged on the following criteria:

1. Helping people stay well
2. Helping people in Hart feel included in their community
3. Helping people feel supported through the challenges they face
4. Deliverability
5. Increasing organisational capacity
6. Long term benefit (for the £50,000 grant sustainability must be included)
7. Environmental impact
8. Value for money

Supporting young people and families

Projects focused on youth wellbeing, mental health, family support and positive activities for children and young people.

• Cornerstone Counselling (youth counselling): £5,000
• Home-Start (family support groups): £5,000
• Vision 4 Youth (youth support groups): £4,936
• RMD Adventure Learning (to set up Odiham Youth Club): £5,000
• North Hampshire Deaf Children's Society (support for deaf children and families): £4,308
• Hart Swimming Club (development pathway for young swimmers): £5,000
• 1st Crookham Scout Group (archery participation): £4,970

Health, wellbeing and inclusion

Projects improving physical health, mental wellbeing, independence and inclusion for residents of all ages, particularly vulnerable groups.

• Age Concern (support for older residents): £2.650
• Yateley Industries (accessible wellbeing garden): £5,000
• Open Sight (support for visually impaired residents): £4,820
• Andover Mind (therapeutic art sessions): £3,430
• Sasha’s Project (substance awareness and mental health education): £1,100

Community spaces and facilities

Investments in community buildings, venues and shared spaces that benefit a wide range of local groups.

• St Barnabas Church (outdoor community hub): £5,000
• Hook-Odiham Rugby Football Club (community kitchen): £5,000
• St Peter's Church (accessible entrance): £3,900
• Hart Players (replacement curtains for Blackwater and Hawley Memorial Hall): £5,000
• Odiham Parish Council (Friendship Corner gardens and playground): £5,000
• Citizens Advice (new IT equipment to improve advice services and support volunteer development): £5,000
• Eversley Parish Council (public solar-powered defibrillator): £5,000
• Hook, Odiham & Hartley Wintney Lions (community defibrillators): £3,200

Sport, recreation and community participation

Projects increasing opportunities for residents to take part in sports, recreation and active lifestyles.

• Fleet Cricket Club (upgrading women’s and girls' facilities): £5,000
• Yateley Silverbacks (inclusive basketball provision): £5,000
• Hawley Lake Sail Training Centre (paddlesport expansion): £4,705

Culture, arts and community events

Projects supporting creative, cultural and community engagement activities.

• Holy Ridiculous Dramatic Society (community theatre activities): £1,712

Environmental sustainability and community resilience

Projects focused on environmental improvement, sustainability and long-term community resilience.
