Residents of properties, which do not have off street parking (driveway or garage), may apply for two Residents' parking permits. Other residents may apply for only one. Residents' parking permits are valid for one year and cost £50 each for the first permit and £75 for any second permit, if applicable. We will contact you after you applied. Not all properties on a street are automatically part of the scheme.
On applying for a permit residents will be asked to provide proof of residency and a copy of the V5 (log book) for the vehicle.
All residents are also eligible for Visitors’ parking permits. These cost £10 each and are valid for 2 weeks. Up to 17 permits can be purchased in a year. Residents who do not have a residents permit will be asked to provide proof of residency on an annual basis.
Scratch cards are also available for properties within the Resident Permit scheme. They are sold in books of five, £5 per book, limited to six books per month, per property. The annual allowance will be 40 books per property. Residents who do not have a residents permit will be asked to provide proof of residency on an annual basis.
All submissions will go to our Parking Team and they will be in contact to confirm if your application has been successful.
