Coronavirus: parking update
To support local residents and businesses at this difficult time, Hart District Council has suspended charges in all its public car parks until the end of June.
To release resources and to remove unnecessary bureaucracy, the Council will not issue any new or replacement residents’ parking permits during this period. Existing permits will remain valid even if they expire before the end of June. Parking scratch cards will not be necessary during this time.
Residents parking permits are available for some areas within Fleet and Hartley Wintney.
The streets to which permits apply are:
Fleet: Albert Street, Church Road, Clarence Road, Connaught Road, Cranbrook Court, Dunmow Hill, Glebe Court, Kent Road, 6,8,10,12 Old Cove Road, 18a Reading Road, Upper Street, Victoria Road, Wellington Avenue,
Hartley Wintney: Oakland Terrace, the un-named link road connecting Oakland Terrace to the A30 High Street adjacent to Hattons Pond, Oakley Place, and Hardlings Lane.
Please contact our parking team on 01252 625990 to check eligibility.
Proof of residency is required (council tax/utility bill), copies are acceptable as long as the details are clearly legible, along with the correct fee of £35.
Apply online for Fleet or Hartley Wintney residents' permits.
