What you'll find there

Green Flag Award for three years. It has also been awarded Heritage site accreditation for two years running.Explore Phoenix Green Common, West Green Common and the Mildmay Oaks.Admire the diversity of rare flora & fauna which live here such as the veteran oak trees, bats and tawny owls. Whilst you’re here you can visit the historical Mildmay Oaks and explore one of our small sites [8] – West Green Common.

Hartley Wintney Commons has an interesting history. We have a full written report by Mary Bennett called A History of Hartley Wintney and its Commons [9]. We also have a self-guided trail [10] to enjoy.
