What is the COVID-19 survey?

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone. We are seeking our residents’ views on how you and your community have been affected. It is likely that this crisis will bring permanent changes to how we live, work and travel and understanding these changes will be key when planning for the future of our district.

We also want to hear your views on how the Council and its services have responded to the pandemic. Your feedback will help us improve and prepare for future challenges.

Councillor David Neighbour, Leader of Hart District Council, said: "This is a challenging time for all of us, nationally and locally. Hart District Council has introduced numerous new measures for residents during the pandemic as well as continuing to deliver key services. 

"Not only do we want to ensure we continue to meet our community’s needs, we want to understand how the pandemic has affected you and what will change as we emerge out of it. This will help us plan our services and communities for the future. So please give us your feedback by answering as many of the questions as possible."

Have your say!

We want to hear from as many residents as possible. Please share it with your family, friends and neighbours. We are especially keen to hear more from the younger members of our communities as they are often reluctant to give their views. 

Take part in the survey and help shape the future of your council and your community. The questionnaire has four sections with the following themes:

•    COVID-19 and Your Home - How does your home suit your needs and what would you change about it?
•    COVID-19 and My Community – How has the pandemic impacted your community and how has your community responded to the challenges?
•    COVID-19 and Hart District Council – How has our response been?
•    Beyond COVID-19 – What impact will the pandemic have on our lives moving forward?

We anticipate it will take no more than 20 minutes to complete the survey, but it depends on how much feedback you would like to give.  
The survey can be completed through the link above or you can request a paper copy to be sent to your address (it will include a postage-paid reply envelope). To request a hard copy, please get in touch with us by phone or email on the contact details below.

What’s next?

The survey will close at midnight on Sunday 26 July. We will share our findings later in the summer. The results of this survey will also inform our Communities Survey which will be launched later in the year.
