The Council has adopted an Economic Development Strategy and revised the Action Plan in October, 2017, which set out the strategic direction for economic development in the District, with a focus on business and economic growth.
We have recently launched our Hart for Business website. This website has a host of information about why Hart is a great place to do business, property information, skills and employment and business support.
The Regulatory Services Enforcement Policy sets out the general framework that will be applied across Regulatory Services in their role of protecting the public, the natural and built environment, consumers and those at work.
Views sought on new resource for Hart businesses
The Council is exploring the possibility of setting up an online website aimed at bringing local traders and customers together.
This e-commerce platform would be paid for by the Government’s Welcome Back Fund the Council has received and would provide free membership to all Hart businesses and community organisations for the first 12 months. The aim is to enable businesses to reach a wider pool of customers and extending their online visibility.
Therefore, we are seeking feedback from local businesses through our survey to find out if businesses would be keen to be part of an online platform and to understand the future of the platform after the first year.
The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete and closes on Friday 24 September. You can complete the survey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Z2ZPG8X.
