Article 4 Direction – Employment Land

On 14 February 2018 Planning Committee considered a report and agreed to make a non-immediate Article 4 Direction to withdraw permitted development rights related to change of use of offices, light industrial units and storage and distribution units, to residential use. This relates to 6 Strategic Employment Sites and 13 Locally Important Employment Sites identified within the Proposed Submission Version of the Hart Local Plan.

The Direction was made on Wednesday 2 May 2018 and is proposed to come into force on Monday 6 May 2019. A paper copy of the Direction and maps is available at the Council Offices. The maps can also be viewed below. A supporting statement has been prepared to justify the Article 4 Direction.

Representations on the Article 4 Direction were made between Friday 4 May 2018 and received by 4.30pm on Friday 15 June 2018.   The consultation is now closed.
