If you are responsible for the bill but don't qualify for benefit you may still be able to claim if someone living with you is on a low income (not a partner or lodger). This is called Second Adult Rebate.
Benefit is not awarded to help people pay Council Tax for properties, which are not their main home (e.g. second homes).
If there is not any benefit on your bill and you think you may be eligible, please call Hart Revenue Services for a claim form or download the Hart Benefits Form online (see downloads area).
DO NOT DELAY - Benefit will normally start from the Monday following the date we receive your application form.
