When's the Next Election?
2009
There are no District Elections due to be held within Hart District in 2009, but there will be elections to Hampshire County Council on the 7th May 2009 and to the European Parliament on the 4th June 2009.
Her Majesty’s Government may combine both elections on the 4th June 2009 but will not make this decision until November 2008 so check back to this page for updates. All dates below assume that any combination will not take place.

Details of the candidates standing for the elections will be posted on the elections front page after the closing date for nominations prior to Polling Day. Details of your Polling Station will be shown on your Poll Card which will be delivered to your address approximately three weeks before the date of the election.
If you are a prospective Independent Candidate or party agent you are invited to our agents briefing to be held at 7.15pm on the 10th March 2009. Please contact us in advance of this date with your details.
County Nomination papers will be available from the Civic Offices, Fleet from 11th March 2009. County Nomination papers can be submitted between the 30th March 2009 and Noon on the 7th April 2009.
