Sense of Place Questionnaire

Background

Hart District Council is currently reviewing some of the parish boundaries within the District.  As part of the review Hart wished to determine those small, distinctive and recognisable communities that could be used to define future parishes in the District.  A postal ‘Sense of Place’ survey was sent out to local residents in the areas under review to assist in the process.

The sample for the Sense of Place survey was drawn randomly from within 21 polling districts in areas under review.  The final response rate to the survey overall was 45%, (or 3,241 surveys out of 7,273 sent).
