Corporate Plan and Medium Term Financial Strategy

2007 - 2011

On September 27th 2007, the council approved a new Corporate Plan and Medium Term Financial Strategy for the period 2007 - 2011.

The Plan is a statement of the Council’s aims and policies for the medium to long term. The document addresses a wide variety of issues that are important to the District

The new plan sets out two key priorities for the council in the immediate future

• Improving the Environment enhancing our natural and built environment and ensuring clean, green and safe streets and public spaces
• Affordable Housing to maximise the supply and choice of new housing to meet local needs.
