What Happens at a Meeting  

Meetings are run on a standard format, but differ because of the topics to be discussed.

All Councillors attend full Council.  Cabinet is also known as the Executive and makes the major decisions.  

In Overview and Scrutiny Committee members scrutinise the decisions being made by the Council.

Planning and Licensing are statutory committees and their decisions are bound by the laws laid down by the government.
