North Hampshire Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Development Study
Consultants AECOM were appointed by Hart District Council, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Rushmoor Borough Council to produce the North Hampshire Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Development Study 2010. This study forms part of the evidence base and informs the development of sustainable construction and renewable energy policies within the emerging Core Strategies of the three authorities.
- Amendment to Table A1 North Hampshire Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Development Study (March 2010)
The study sets out the evidence base and possible opportunities to support renewable energy and low carbon development in the three areas as well as providing potential policy options. It also identifies three strategic sites (for Hart – Queen Elizabeth II Barracks) and provides recommendations on what could be undertaken on site in terms of renewable and low carbon development.
