Open Space

An Open Space Audit was undertaken in 2006 by Kit Campbell Associates on behalf of the Council.  The study assesses local provision of open space, sport and recreation within the District in line with national policy - Planning Policy Guidance 17 (PPG17): Planning for Open Space, Sport and Recreation (2002).

An update to this Audit is currently underway to form part of the evidence base supporting the documents making up the Hart Local Development Framework.
