Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA)

The SHLAA is an evidence base study which  informs the preparation of the LDF by identifying sites which could be used for new housing development.  However, please note that inclusion of a site in the SHLAA does not necessarily mean that it will be allocated for development or that planning permission will be granted.

The SHLAA was published in December 2010.  An Addendum & Amendments document has since been published in December 2011 to include new sites added since 2010, and amendments to some of the site boundaries.  Appendices 4 - 6 have also been updated.  Please note that Addendum December 2011 and appendices 8-14 are very large documents (some have had to be split into two documents as they are so large).
