Hart Helps Heroes

HART Leisure Centre raised £461.13 for the Help For Heroes charity as a result of its first family fun day.

The event consisted of various free activities for children and their families-including face painting, a crèche, dance mats, bouncy castles and a treasure hunt.

A week earlier leisure centre staff had been out in the Hart shopping centre in Fleet publicising the fun day and raising money.

Said assistant manager, Kevin Wallace: “The response we had from both the public in the shopping centre and from all those who attended the family fun day was fantastic. The popularity of the charity shows in the amount that was raised.”
