Who You Gonna Call? Graffiti Busters

THE Safer Hart Partnership this week called on the Hart public to report

local graffiti to them so that it can be dealt with during the fifth annual  Graffiti Busting Week (August 24-28).

The Community Safety Team makes a special effort to remove graffiti during the week. The aims of the week are to encourage people to take pride in where they live and work and to remove as much graffiti across the district as possible.

The  partnership believes that graffiti not only spoils a community but it encourages anti-social behaviour and heightens fear of crime.

Last year an unprecedented amount of reports were received and more than 100 pieces of graffiti were removed. Those left over will be given priority this year.
