Free Parking for Fleet Fireworks

HART District Council is to suspend parking charges in its Fleet town centre car parks for this year’s Fleet Lions Fireworks Fiesta on the evening of Saturday November 7.

The aim of the gesture is to ensure a bumper turnout for the annual event in the Views.

Hart’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Stephen Parker commented: “Fleet Lions does an incredible amount of work for this area.

“Not only does it run the community furniture store, providing quality used furniture for those who need it, but it also raises lots of money for good causes.

“I was very happy to approve the suspension of parking charges for the Fireworks Fiesta and I hope that those enjoying the show will dig a little deeper when the collection buckets come round.”
