Hart Welcomes Improved Assessment

THE Chief Executive of Hart Council, Mr Geoff Bonner has welcomed the latest annual assessment by the Audit Commission as showing an improvement in the Council’s performance.

He says: “The report shows we are continuing to improve and making progress despite  difficult financial circumstances.

“The Audit Commission’s new approach to assessment is a much harder test than the previous inspection regime. We are pleased to see that even when facing this bigger challenge we have still managed to improve our scores.

“We shall continue our programme of improvements over the coming months.”
