Green fingers quest in Blackwater

GREEN fingered residents of Blackwater and Frogmore are being invited to take part in a garden competition next month.

The event is part of the latest Crime Reduction and Environment Week being held in Blackwater December 8-13.

Says Richard Denham. Safer Hart Partnership Officer and organiser of the event: “Beautiful gardens help to improve the appearance of an area and raise community spirit. While CREW works to tackle environmental issues such as fly tipping and vandalism it’s important to show our appreciation for those who positively improve the area.”

The winner will get a certificate plus £25 worth of garden vouchers.
