Election Line-Up in Hart on June 4
EIGHTEEN candidates will contest the five Hart seats on Hampshire County Council in the county elections on June 4. The Conservatives and Labour fight all five seats with three Liberal Democrat candidates, two British National Party, one Community Campaign Hart and two independents.
Currently three seats are Conservative held and the Liberal Democrats hold two.
In the Hart by-election at Eversley caused by the death of Cllr Hugo Eastwood there will be Conservative, BNP and Independent candidates.

Meanwhile voters who will not be in Hart when the county and European elections are held on June 4 are being urged to apply for a postal vote or proxy vote (where someone trusted votes on their behalf on polling day).
The voter might be going away on business, on holiday or have other commitments preventing attendance at the local polling station between 7am and 10pm on the day.
To arrange a vote go to www.aboutmyvote.co.uk or call electoral and registration services on 01252 774077 to apply for a form and return it to Hart District Council.
Applications for a postal vote need to reach the Returning Officer by 5pm on Tuesday May 19. The deadline for ordinary proxy applications is 5pm on Wednesday May 27.
