‘Soccer on Saturday’ starts at Hart

THE Safer Hart Partnership and Aldershot Town’s Football in the Community Trust have teamed up again to launch Saturday football sessions for the district’s youngsters.

‘Soccer on Saturday’ will run every Saturday from February 5 to May 7 from 9.30-11 am at Basingbourne Park in Fleet.

It is open to anyone aged 5-16 and is run by qualified Aldershot Town FC staff. It costs £2.50 per session with no need to book ahead.

Disability Sessions

The same partners are re-launching their free sports sessions for adults with  disabilities. The sessions run from 12.30 to 1.30pm on the next six Wednesdays from January 12 at Hart Leisure Centre in Fleet.

Co-ordinator Richard Denham  commented: “We are very fortunate that our local League club is offering these sessions. All adults with disabilities are welcome to come along.”
