Dog Fouling
Our litter crews will remove dog fouling from public footpaths, rights of way and the public highway. A fine of £50.00 may be levied for owners who fail to clear up after their dog.
There are a number of dog bins throuhout the District for use by dog owners. Dog fouling has been reclassified which means it can be placed in to general litter bins found in many public areas. Dog fouling does not need to be separated or treated differently to general litter.
To report dog fouling then please contact our Street Cleansing Department on 01256 845322 or by email on customer.service@basingstoke.gov.uk.
