Hart District Council now work with Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council to keep the district clean and free from litter.

Street Cleaning Programme

The Council is responsible for keeping the area clean and free of litter

We will:

• continuously clean town centres
• clean main roads at least once a week
• clean other roads on a regular 13 week cycle
• remove accumulations of rubbish from Council land
• empty litter bins on a regular basis
• help with your locally organised clean-ups

You can help us by:

• being tidy with your litter and chewing gum
• using the Household Waste Recycling Centres
• having waste collection contracts for your business
• not leaving your dogs mess for others
• not "Fly Posting" - it's untidy and illegal
• not parking where you want us to clean
• reporting your concerns to us
