After 29 March 2004, garden waste is not allowed in wheeled bins. Instead there are three ways you can compost your garden waste.......
Home Composting
| Composting you garden waste at home is best for the environment and saves time and fuel in getting to and from the tip as well as giving you free compost for the garden. The Council is offering cost price home compost bins go to our compost bin web page for details of the compost bin promotion. |
Household Waste Recycling Centres
Take your garden waste free of charge to the Household Waste Recycling Centres at Hartley Wintney and Farnborough. The garden waste is taken to a site near Basingstoke for composting |  |
Garden Waste Collection

For an annual subscription fee we will supply you with a tough re-usable sack which we will empty fortnightly, 25 times a year. Additional sacks for the same address are available at a reduced price.
