Garden Waste
Unfortunately due to operational constraints we are unable to accept any new customers for the foreseeable future onto the garden waste collection scheme
If you are still interested in joining the scheme please contact us with your address details and we will contact you as soon as we are able to add new customers to the service.
Disposal options:
For just £30 a year, will supply you with a tough, re-usable sack and empty it once a fortnight. Additional sacks for the same address costs just £15 a year each. To subscribe to the garden waste service call us on 01252 622122 |
 | We provide a free Christmas tree collection for all our residents who have subscribed to the garden waste collection service. Please note that Christmas trees must not have soil, pots or decorations attached. Alternatively Christmas trees can be taken to your local Household Recycling Centre |
When will my garden waste be collected?

2. Use the calendar below to determine the week and day your garden waste will be collected:
The garden waste collection service will be suspended over the two weeks covering Christmas and the New Year.
The last collection in 2008 will be on Friday 19th December and the service will resume on the 5th January 2009.

Composting your garden waste at home is best for the environment and saves time and fuel in getting to and from the tip as well as giving you free compost for the garden. The Council is offering cost-price home compost bins. Please see the compost bin promotion page for further details. |
