Local Development Scheme (LDS)

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) describes the documents that Hart District Council intends to produce within its Local Development Framework (LDF).

It incorporates a timetable for their production, along with details of when the public will be invited to participate.

The Council's LDS became effective on 5th April 2005. However, please note that the timetable set out in the 2005 LDS is out of date. We will be preparing a new LDS after the commencement of the new Planning Act (early 2009). No consultations are planned for the intervening period. The next public consultation is likely to be on the Core Strategy no sooner than Autumn 2009.
