• Deposit Draft: June 1996
• Pre Inquiry Changes: April 1997
• Further Changes: February 1998
• Public Local Inquiry: September 1997 - July 1998
• Inspector's Report: October 1999
• Proposed Modifications: March 2001
• Urban Capacity Study: March 2002
• Resolution to Adopt: October 2002
• Adoption: December 2002

The Inspector's Report, October 1999, reported on the proceedings at the Public Local Inquiry and made recommendations to the Council in respect of the proposals contained within the draft Replacement Hart District Local Plan.

The Proposed Modifications set out changes proposed to the Plan following the Council's consideration of the Inspectors report and the recommendations made within it. A six week period of consultation ran from 30th March to 14th May 2001.
